Hiba Saleem, MACP, RPQ
Hiba Saleem is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and an associate therapist at Roots & Horizons Therapy. She earned her Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology in 2024 and brings experience from working in private practice. Hiba Salem offers a safe, empathetic, and judgment-free space to explore your inner experiences.
Hiba works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief, body image and life transitions. She uses evidence-based, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive approaches, tailoring therapy to each client’s unique struggles while fostering resilience and growth. Her diverse therapeutic toolkit allows her to meet clients where they are and support meaningful change.
As a visible minority, Muslim woman who wears a hijab and is of South Asian descent, Hiba understands the day-to-day challenges faced by individuals from marginalized and intersectional identities. She brings this understanding into therapy with compassion, cultural humility, and awareness of systemic barriers.
