Senam Bruce-Kemevor, MACP, RP
Senam Bruce-Kemevor is a Registered Psychotherapist in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and the founder of Roots & Horizons Therapy. She earned her Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology (with Honours) in 2023 and brings experience from both private practice and hospital-based mental health settings.
Senam works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, post-traumatic stress, obsessive-compulsive disorder, life transitions, identity concerns, and emotional overwhelm. Her therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based care.
She deeply values the role of culture, religion, ethnicity, family systems, and lived experience in shaping how individuals understand themselves, navigate mental health, and move through the world. Senam approaches therapy through a culturally responsive and trauma-informed lens, recognizing that healing does not occur in isolation from one’s identity or environment.
Senam’s goal is for clients to feel seen, respected, emotionally safe, and hopeful — empowered to understand their story while moving toward a future aligned with their values.
